As Sales Manager you are responsible for selling the healthy snacks and drinks to your customers.
Tuck Shop Table:
Make the tuck shop stall as inviting as possible:
Use bright, colourful tablecloths and baskets to attract customers to your stall.
Display up to date price lists and tuck shop rules.
Always be polite and friendly. People buy from people they like!
Make sure the tuck shop goes out every day.
If it doesn't, organise a meeting of the Sales Managers and those on the sales rota to find out what has gone wrong.
Storing the Snacks and Drinks:
Make sure the snacks and drinks are correctly stored somewhere cool, dark and off the ground and rotated i.e. sell the old stock before the new stock.
At the end of the Tuck Shop Sales:
Store the snacks and drinks away and put the money away safely.
Let the Stock Control Managers know when an order is needed. Work with them to complete an order form. You have a choice of forms:
Order form: simple form to fill in the number of snacks and drinks you need.
Stock Take Order form: you can use this form to accurately work out how many snacks you need.
Sign the order form, ask your Supervisor to check it and then give it to the Purchasing Manager.
It is your responsibility to make sure the tuck shop looks colourful and exciting. Have a look at some of our other tuck shops. They might give you some ideas. If you would like to share a picture of your tuck shop, send us a picture and we will show it off.
